Gelberg AEC provides conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, construction procurement, and construction administration services to support architectural and interior design projects.
From programming the fundamental needs of a facility, to corporate and asset sustainability and regulatory compliance, our team will meet budget, schedule, and design quality requirements.
Stormwater management is the effort to reduce the runoff of precipitation from a piece of property. When stormwater is absorbed into the soil, it is filtered before flowing into streams and rivers. Stormwater that is not absorbed will run across the surface of the land carrying debris, chemicals, bacteria, and other pollutants into streams, rivers, lakes, and wetlands.
Jurisdictions in the greater DC metropolitan area have rigorous requirements for stormwater management and landscaping for all new construction. Renovation/rehabilitation of existing structures can also rigger these regulatory requirements.

Engineering & Site Design
A successful project requires construction plans to direct contractors what to do and where, as well as certify to reviewers that the design reflects thorough site evaluation and will perform as designed.
The team at Gelberg AEC coordinates with specific disciplines, including Surveyors, Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Archaeologists, Social Scientists, and Landscape Architects, required to support the ultimate design goal.
During the preliminary engineering phase (“30% design”), we can provide cost estimation services to validate feasibility study assumptions. Gelberg AEC is proud to deliver designs that are buildable and permitable.
